Certified Nursing Attendant

The CNA 1 will deliver person centered care based on the needs and interests of the residents while preserving their dignity and quality of life. CNA 1 provides assistance and support for the activities of daily living; including but are not limited to dining, housekeeping, and life enrichment, which are a part of the residents’ daily choices. CNA 1’s work under the supervision of the Resident Care Director/Director of Nursing/Healthcare Administrator.

Housekeeper

Housekeeper cleans and sanitizes common areas, homes, apartments, suites, and healthcare units on the campus. Housekeeper will follow a regular work schedule to accomplish duties under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Housekeeping Supervisor

Housekeeping Supervisor directs the housekeeping, laundry and floor services for the entire campus. This includes the scheduling and coordination of the housekeeping and floor care staffs under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance.

Maintenance Tech II

Maintenance Tech II assists all maintenance personnel in the short term, preventative and emergency maintenance programs for the buildings, grounds and equipment at the campus. This position supervises special projects, handles compliance issues when needed and performs independent tasks. Responsibilities will include the completion of all assigned work orders, maintenance projects and preventive maintenance measures under the supervision of the Director of Facility Services.

Resident Care Director

The RCD establishes and implements standards of resident care throughout assisted living and memory care on a 24-hour basis. This position oversees all direct care aspects, directing and evaluating of direct care personnel providing person centered care within the assisted living and memory care environments. The RCD will deliver person centered care based on the needs and interests of the residents while preserving their dignity and quality of life. The RCD oversees and provides support for the activities of daily living; including, but are not limited to, dining, housekeeping, and life enrichment, which are a part of the residents’ daily choices. The RCD is part of the care plan team and oversees implementation and evaluation of resident assessments and individualized care plans using the web-based program Vision/Health MedX. This position oversees the documentation for residents in their neighborhoods, assigns residents to nursing assistants as needed and assists in the medication management and overall healthcare programs for the residents in a neighborhood. The RCD operates healthcare services to be compliant with federal, state and local regulations. The RCD coordinates and works with community agencies, physicians, families, residents, consultants, ancillary service providers and other departments within the community under the guidance of the Healthcare Administrator/Executive Director.

Social Worker

Social Worker coordinates the successful admission and transfer of all residents within the Skilled Nursing neighborhood of the community. This position assures that a social work representative is an active member of the Care Plan Committee and is responsible for the resident and the formulation of a social plan of care for him or her. This is done through provisions and services to the resident or resident family. This position oversees the development and maintenance of the social work components within the facility to meet the objectives of the skilled nursing center as a total patient care outlet, under the supervision of the Healthcare Administrator (Skilled Nursing).

Utility Aide

Utility Aide supports the dining functions of a campus by providing various services in the areas of food preparation, dishwashing, sanitation, and the receiving and storage of supplies under the supervision of the Executive Chef / Director of Dining Services.

Senior Living Communities conducts thorough pre-screenings for all new hires upon employment and continues to uphold the following policies throughout the duration of employment. These policies are to protect the safety of our residents, employees, visitors and contractors.

Drug-Free Workplace. We drug test all new employees upon hire. Random and reasonable suspicion drug screenings are continued throughout employment. Drug screens are ordered for all parties involved in work-related accidents.

Tobacco-Free Community. Employees are prohibited from smoking and/or using tobacco in any form anywhere on company property at any time. Violations by employees will be immediate dismissal and termination of employment. To read more information, view "Our Pledge".

Criminal Checks. We conduct thorough background checks on all new hires and analyze all convictions, including misdemeanors. A conviction of a crime will not necessarily disqualify an applicant from employment. Failure to indicate a conviction, regardless of the recency or severity, will be considered a falsification, which is a disqualifier from further consideration, and if already hired, is grounds for immediate dismissal and termination of employment. If an employee is convicted of a violation of a law during employment, it is their responsibility to report the conviction to their Business Manager.
