Carolyn Hood Wins 2024 Supernova Award

The Supernova Award represents our company’s pinnacle of individual achievement. The award, chosen through anonymous voting of their peers, is presented to the standout team member of the year.

Our Executive Team presents the Supernova Award during the Senior Living Communities Annual Meeting Memory Gala, a night dedicated to celebrating those who excel in their profession, foster a culture of compassionate professionalism and positive leadership, and put people first, always.

This year, we are proud to congratulate our Wellness Director, Carolyn Hood, as the recipient of the 2024 The Lakes at Litchfield Supernova Award. As the Wellness Director, she is passionate about helping Members improve their health and well-being through exercise. Her classes are well-attended and tailored to individual needs. She takes pride in measuring and reporting her Members’ improvements and cheering them on throughout their journey.

Carolyn began at The Lakes at Litchfield as the Activities Director in the care services area of the community. From the start, she transformed the program for our Members. After a year, she was promoted to Wellness Director. With 30 years of experience, she has already made a lasting impact on Members. Her goal is to ensure that each Member she works with lives a longer, healthier, and happier life!
