Liquor and Cookies

We had a sweet morning here at The Lakes at Litchfield! We enjoyed sipping on some Irish Coffee and snacking on sugar cookies while decorating the first Christmas tree at our community! Have you started to decorate for Christmas this year?

Shopping at Flamingo Porch

We would like to give a big should out to a local business, Flamingo Porch LLC who went above and beyond for our Members. 💕 The owner closed the store to the public to ensure our Members could shop safely. She presented us with goodie bags and special cupcakes and drinks for the Members to enjoy. 🛍 This place is very special to our Members as many of them have been shopping here for years. We are beyond thankful for the opportunity to safely shop while supporting a local area. ✨

Self Care

It was an afternoon focused on self-care here at The Lakes at Litchfield! Our ladies learned how to make their own healing sugar and salt scrubs. They used coconut oil, sugars, salts with peppermint, and eucalyptus essential oils. They are great for easing muscle and joint pain and who doesn’t love a little pampering?

Veteran’s Day

Our community had a wonderful time honoring the Veterans who reside in our community. It was a full day of programming that included a luncheon, trivia, happy hour, and live music. Dan O’Reilly provided live entertainment during a special happy hour. Social Director, Kira and her team set up an area in our Bistro for our Veterans Memorabilia, photographs, and hats worn in service while flying or marching! We honored each of our Members who served in the military as they shared their service details. We concluded the day by singing “God Bless America”. Thank you to all of our incredible Veterans for their services to our country.

Evening of Music

The ever so talented. Dan O’Reilly joined us for an evening of live music! It was a lovely evening to sit in our courtyard and enjoy his talent. Between his skills on the saxophone, knowledge of music history, and whit, it brightened our spirits.
