Carnival for a Cause
Flashback Friday to our Carnival for a Cause last year! Carnival for a Cause was an event that created to have fun while fundraising for the Alzheimer’s Association! Our Members grabbed a red nose and clowned around all day! It was a blast. We had Kind Keepers Animal Rescue join us for a puppy kisses booth, who doesn’t love puppy play time! Their puppies that joined our community are up for adoption too! Members enjoyed dinner with a show with a stilt walking balloon artist and juggler! How cool! Each Member left the event with Cracker Jacks and Lollipops! It was an amazing day full of fun, laughter, and love while we were working to support a cause near and dear to our hearts! Together, we will #ENDcarnival.
Dancing
Our social programming is a large part of the vibrant lifestyle for our Members. With all of the necessary precautions, our Members have been enjoying a variety of activities on a daily basis, safely. Finding new ways to participate in our themed days, fundraisers, crafts, trivia happy hours, and glorious parties is an honor for the social and activities teams at The Lakes at Litchfield. We still strive to make it possible for our Members to have the opportunity to try something new within the walls of our community, in a safe way.
Oktoberfest
Our Members had a “barrel of fun” at our Oktoberfest celebration! Members danced their way into our Bistro where they were greeted with the aroma of German food and the sounds of Polka music! Members sang, danced, and enjoyed a small, safe, and glorious celebration! Prost!
Social Life at The Lakes at Litchfield
Being surrounded by a community of peers who are at a similar place in life allows our Members to create meaningful connections with each other. One of the ways that this takes place is through our incredible dining program. While COVID-19 has limited the number of people that we can seat at once, our upscale dining room is still a place where our Members can meet, catch up and share stories with laughter over freshly prepared food and libations. Connecting over meals with friends and family has always been a key to happiness and continuing to provide these experiences is an important part of our lifestyle at The Lakes at Litchfield.
